Hell.

Thousands of years have traversed this continent, and for centuries, this empire has stood tall. Millions of lives have been taken, and the tears of blood shed could fill a vast ocean if collected as one.

This empire was built upon piles of corpses, squeezing the blood and tears of its people. Yet, with their lack of shame, they proclaim it a sacred empire. Are they not absurdly naive?

Temples were erected to sanctify the empire, gods were revered once more, and prayers filled with praises for the gods echoed through every corner of the empire on the gentle breeze.

Yet, time and again, bloodshed occurred. It seized all the happiness painstakingly built.

"Indeed, it's but an empty, long history. Nothing to be learned. Everything, always ending in sorrow for the very people who should be shielded with all one's might.

So, what's the use of chanting and immortalizing this long history of hundreds of years if none of it is heeded, and everyone keeps repeating the same mistakes? You're just revolving in time without any intention to break free. You arrogant, foolish dignitaries."

Hell.
